The Continuing Downward Spiral of Sarah - Incestuous Psychology
Why shouldn’t Bob be dark about it?
People kept telling him to move on. But how does one move on from that? Sarah had faked a friendship with him, completely betrayed him, over-the-top lied about him, painted him as a user and a creep without acknowledging anything she’d done, cost him his job, made him a pariah, and was now fucking an actual user and creep who was quickly heading for Death’s doorstep.
Exactly how was he supposed to move on from that?
No. Bob had no intention of moving on from it, trying to forget THAT. It wasn’t something that could be forgotten, forgiven, or brushed off his shoulder. He had no thoughts of harming her or ever speaking to her again. But he had loved her and THIS is what she had done to him for it.
He would, however, if he had had the power, utterly ruined The Corpse, made The Corpse so unappealing to her that she couldn’t rationalize being with him, lie to herself, trick herself into continuing her overt stupidity and usury, let her see how disgusting she was being in a mirror she made herself. But there was nothing Bob could do on that front. She was too delusional to reach. She had had an age limit rule, which went right out the window when the money came into the picture. She probably told herself it was close enough, but it would not have occurred to her that the Corpse wasn’t even in her generation. Bob was. THE CORPSE WAS PART OF HER DAD’S!! Talk about a daddy surrogate. Talk about an Electra Complex. How would she feel if it occurred to her that, given the creep’s profession, she was, essentially, fucking her father? Talk about psychological incest. She should have looked back at his photos from when he was HER age.
So Bob just waited, waited for The Corpse to show his true colors. Waited for Sarah to realize what a waste of space he was…and she was for what she’d done and what she was doing. He waited to gloat…and gloat he would, because there was absolutely no chance in all of creation that The Corpse wasn’t exactly what Bob thought he was. He would wait years just to say, “I told you so,” to rub it in, to have that one opportunity to make her feel like the absolute piece of shit she was for what she did. And, again, he wouldn’t feel bad about it, because she had no intention of ever admitting to her lies or saying sorry. She was trash, dating trash, no matter how much status she thought he had. And trash should get fire.
The Continuing Downward Spiral of Sarah - Sarah's Reality
If Sarah had know what Bob was thinking about her disgusting relationship, she would have had the means to out The Corpse for the user he was immediately. All she would have had to do is repeat it to him. His response would have exposed him without a doubt.
